With Google releasing on their blog, “Today, we’re introducing the YouTube Kids app, the first Google product built from the ground up with little ones in mind.” Lots of parents are excited about this since they now have easy access to kid friendly content without concern of explicit images or words suddenly appearing.

Your kids are probably already fans of YouTube. The video site that streams everything from your latest skiing vacation to Hollywood movies and everything in between. But for parents it’s become a go-to source for kids entertainment and a little peace and quiet. One of our Dad’s Tales even sang its praises while underscoring the problems parents often experienced. The potential of explicit material or language suddenly popping up on the screen.

With the soon-to-be released YouTube Kids app, that will be sovled. Launching on Monday, February 23rd, the app “built from the ground up with little ones in mind” will offer videos on topics kids want to explore.
