Review: Muddy Munchkin Boots

Getting your child to wear their winter gear can be a real nightmare and while I can’t help you with the coat I have found the answer for the boots. The Muddy Munchkin boots by MyMayu were clearly thought up by a parent because they have been designed to make a parent’s life easier.

Muddy Munchkin boots retail for $60 and are available in  growing number of colors and characters. The boots are a two part system made of of the soft sized boot and a fleece sock/liner.

The idea of separating the liner from the boot make them so much easier to put on your children and even remove. With the liner acting as almost a sock it makes it easy to be washed when the time comes.

As much as I love the soft sized boots for their ease of putting them on and off they truly shine when it comes time for your child to use them. Most winter boots require your kid to walk like the Frankenstein’s monster due to their rigid nature but that is not a problem with these.

People without kids might think $60 would be a lot to pay for a pair of winter boots but for any parent that lives in a winter environment these are worth every dollar. Their thick material and heavy duty construction might make them the first winter boots to last through more than one child.
